Las fotos de este post las tomé en el mercado de artesanias de San Miguel de Allende. Todo lo que veía me encantaba y de haber llevado más dinero hubiera tenido que comprar una maleta extra para todos mis souvenirs. Por fortuna para mi cartera, logré controlar mis instintos "shopaholics" y solamente me compré un par de botas, que me salieron baratísimas, son de piel y hechas por manos mexicanas. De hecho considero que las botas fueron una ganga ya que regresando a la ciudad, vi que en una tienda de zapatos, vendían unas botas casi identicas por 300 EUROS!. Luego les enseño las fotos. 

Espero que les gusten las fotos del lugar, para los que vivimos en México es muy común encontrar este tipo de mercados en casi cada ciudad, aún así quiero mostrarles este pedacito de mi país, porque se que no es muy común encontrar esta belleza en cualquier parte del mundo.

The photos in this post were taken in the craft market in San Miguel de Allende. Everything All I saw was steling my attention, but controlled my "shopaholics" instincts, and I only bought a pair of boots that  they were very cheap and skin made by Mexican hands. In fact I think that the boots were a bargain beacuse the other day I saw in a shoe online store, a nearly identical boots but the cost was 300 EUROS (OMG!). 

I hope you like the photos of the place, for those who live in Mexico is very common to find this type of market in almost every city. I want to show you this little part of my country, because it is not very common to find this beauty around the world. 

Frida Khalo for Vogue: "Las apariencias engañan"

After 50 years of being locked in two baths of the home of Frida Kahlo,  by request of Diego Rivera, were opened two trunks containing clothing, photographs, accessories, among other personal items of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.

Vogue in collaboration with the Museo Frida Kahlo produced an exhibition for the first time that shows to the public all the personal treasures of the artist.

I have to confess that although I had visited the museum several times, the new exhibition left me speechless. See the Frida Kahlo inspired creations of designers like Jean Paul Gaultier and Ricardo Tisci live and in color left me shocked ...

The photos you see below were taken by me and my boyfriend on my visit to the museum, is a long post but I hope you enjoy it :). If you live or are visiting Mexico City, go to the museum and see the exhibit, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Tras 50 años de permanecer bajo llave en dos baños de la que fuera casa de Frida Kahlo, por petición de Diego Rivero, se abrieron dos baúles que contenían  ropa, fotografías, accesorios, entre otros articulos personales de la admirada artista mexicana Frida Kahlo. 

Vogue en colaboración con el Museo Frida Kahlo elaboraron una exposición dondé por primera vez todos los tesoros más personales de la artista son mostrados al público. 

Tengo que confesarles que aunque ya había visitado varias veces el museo, la nueva exposición me dejo sin palabras. Ver las creaciones inspiradas en Frida Khalo de diseñadores de la talla de Jean Paul Gaultier o Ricardo Tisci en vivo y a todo color me dejo impactada... 

Las fotos que verán a continuación fueron tomadas por mi y mi novio en mi visita al museo, es un post largo pero espero que sea de su agrado :). Si viven o estan de visita en la ciudad de México, vayan al museo y vean la exposición, les prometo que no se arrepentiran.
